From Model to Hero Continues!
From Model to Hero : Faerie Dragon - voting resumes
The "From Model to Hero: Faerie Dragon" contest is back and has entered the second voting phase. This means that you can again vote on your favorite hero out of the entries available. There will be a total of 8 threads open with 8 contestants each, and the 3 contestants with the most votes from each group will carry on to the next stage of the contest. 2 threads will be released at a time for 4 days, so vote quickly and vote well, because you might just be playing the hero you vote for! MYM.DotA Wins Dreamhack Summer 2007!
The much anticipated event: Dreamhack Summer 2007 has finally come to an end. It was a final between two big names in the DotA scene MeetYourMakers and T_T. The upperbracket final was won by MYM with a 2:0 score, which gave them a 1:0 advantage in the overall finals. T_T managed to win the first game making the score 1:1 but the second game was won by MYM.DotA making them the champions of the tournament! Competitive DotA Update
MeetYourMakers has launched two tournaments, MYM Prime Defending 6 and the MYM Nations Cup, both have started already and replays and information about both tournaments can be found in our

More good news, Hostile Tactics Gaming Network is starting their own DotA League Division: HTGN.DotA. The league will have several divisions and after each season they will be giving prizes out to the teams that performed best. DotA Tournaments is a site with free, open and completely automated DotA matchmaking site. The tournaments are created, played, and determined 100% by the users. The site also has an automated ranking system. You and your team earn points based on your performance in the tournaments, like on Battle.net where you earn experience for a win and move up in the rankings. Biggest LAN in Canada: Fragapalooza needs your help!
Team Pandemic leader Larry "Fachh" Li is asking for everyone of you to help him to get DotA as an official tournament on Fragapalooza.
"Fragapalooza is considering official tournaments and I am setting out to prove to the organizers that DOTA is a popular enough game to be used as an OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT.
